Taapsee Pannu begins ‘Thappad’ with Anubhav Sinha

Anubhav Sinha has just has his last film ‘Article 15’ make it’s mark at the box office. However, he’s already sprung into action with his next movie, ‘Thappad’.

The film stars Taapsee Pannu and will focus on Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code, which states that is a husband or a husband’s relative subjects a woman to cruelty, he’ll be punished by imprisonment and monitory punishment.

Cheers to the new beginning…. This one is a subject way too close to my heart. I’ve been wanting to do this since years. And it becomes exciting when it happens with the ‘Man of The Moment’ @anubhavsinhaa 8th March 2020 will surely be the day to watch out for ! And ofcourse new beginnings need to be celebrated with some kickass food from Munna Da Dhaba!

Sinha’s ‘Mulk’ last year and recent release ‘Article 15’ have sought to start conversations within Indian society and this forthcoming project will no doubt do the same.
