Taapsee Pannu attempts stand-up comedy
Taapsee Pannu is known for experimenting with film roles and genres, but the actress is now trying her hand at a new form of entertainment – stand-up comedy.
Pannu has been a fan of stand-up comedy for a while, and was recently spotted at Russell Peters’ show with Vicky Kaushal. According to a source, she jumped at the opportunity to perform a routine on stage, “She instantly came on board and performed in front of an audience of 200 people. Her set involved jokes around some of her life experiences. She was nervous and excited, but the audience’s constant cheer and applause were encouraging.”, Mumbai Mirror reported. She prepared a 15-minute set in a span of three days, which was appreciated by the audience.
Pannu’s latest film ‘Game Over’ is releasing in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi on 14th June.
