T-Series’ next ‘Khandaani Shafakhaana’ slapped with legal notice

Amitabh Parashar who was working on new film ‘Bhag Mohabbat’, has accused T-Series for stealing his script idea for their next ‘Khandaani Shafakhaana’, starring Sonakshi Sinha and Annu Kapoor.

Reported on SpotboyE, Parashar has sent T-Series a legal notice, claiming their forthcoming film is based on the director’s script for ‘Bhag Mohabbat’. The story is based on roadside sex doctors. Last year, Parashar said he had sent a soft copy of his script to T-Series, who had also acknowledged receipt of this.

However, Bhushan Kumar from T-Series has dismissed the accusations as false. “It’s totally false as what film we are making is totally different. No similarity at all. I don’t know how and why, without knowing our film, he is claiming that.”

Parashar had initially made a lengthy documentary called ‘Death Of The Sex Doctor’, following a four-year research on local sex shops, which was the inspiration behind his script. Parashar says he had gone to T-Series and met with Mukesh Desai and Anjali Bhushan to pitch his script, in the hope to be roped in to direct the film, suggesting Ayushmann Khuranna as the male lead.
