Swraj Paul۪s company acquires Sky TV channel

Swraj Paul’s Caparo group has acquired a channel on Sky TV’s Electronic Programming Guide (EPG) which, would provide base for Film24, in which Caparo is the principal shareholder.

Film24 is an independent, multi-platform content business, producing high impact programmes and short features. It was co-founded by Caparo CEO Angad Paul along with Nicky Davis and Andrew Burns. They are Film24۪s Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer respectively. The famous Pinewood Shepperton Studios, where the channel is based, also has a stake.

“We are very pleased to provide this platform for what we believe will be a rapidly growing international brand in television. Caparo۪s main thrust continues to be the rapid growth of its manufacturing division, nevertheless our sometimes forgotten media division is gathering pace. As a television channel, Film24 provides the ideal addition to our film production and distribution activities. We are delighted to be working with such solid and experienced people in the U.K. and we look forward to exploiting Film24۪s international possibilities in the not too distant future,” Mr. Angad Paul said.

Film24 is available on Sky EPG 158.
