‘Swaragini’ to take weekday 21:30 slot on Colors

Colors is adding a new show to its primetime line-up, ‘Swaragini’ in the weekday 21:30 slot.

The show is reportedly based on an incomplete love story between Marwari man (Shekhar) and a Bengali lady (Sharmistha) who have now moved on in life. Sachin Tyagi and Parineeta will play the lead roles, while Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar and Helly Shah will play their grown-up daughters. ‘Swaragini’ launches on Monday 2nd March at 21:30.

This will result in ‘Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat’ being reduced from 60-minutes to a half-hour show.
