Swara Bhaskar likely to star with Akshay Kumar in ‘Gold’?

After receiving much critical acclaim for her stint in ‘Nil Battey Sannata’ (2015), it seems Swara Bhaskar is one name that most filmmakers want to work with. News has it that the team from the forthcoming Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Gold’ are thinking of approaching her to play the female lead.

“Swara’s last film ‘Nil Battey Sannata’ did well critically and commercially, the makers feel she’s got the perfect mix for a film like ‘Gold’” Box Office Capsule reports a source revealing.

The source went on to add, “The team was looking for someone with acting prowess. After considering a few names, they chose Swara Bhaskar. They have approached her and she will soon sit for a narration and decide.”

In the meantime, Bhaskar is gearing up for her next release ‘Anarkali Aarawali’, directed by Avinash Das which will hit the big screens on 24th June.
