Sushmita Sen’s last successful film at the box office, ‘Main Hoon Na’ (2004) was a bit of a comeback vehicle for her, where her performance as ProfessorChandni was a hit with the audience. A series of flops followed after that, but that hasn’t dampened Sen’s spirits; as she is all ready to make her Bengali debut in Srijit Mukherji’s ‘Nirbaak.’ She will be sharing screen space with popular Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta, and has apparantly shot for some bold scenes with him.

According to Movietalkies, Sen and Sengupta have shot for a number of intimate scenes, some of which have them locking lips. It is also said that Sen is considering working, in more Bengali films.

Sen’s last film, multi-starrer comedy, ‘No Problem’ (2010)failed to connect with the audience, but her Bengali debut is promising to be an eye opener. ‘Nirbaak’ will be releasing on the 1st of May, and also stars Arjun Datta.
