Sushant’s fans demand boycott of Salman’s production ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’

With Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans demanding a change in the film industry after the tragic demise of the actor in June, it seems their next focus is on Salman Khan.

The Bollywood superstar is under fire by Sushant’s fans and are making calls to boycott the ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, which is produced by Khan.

On Monday, a Facebook group named ‘Justice For Sushant Singh Rajput #SSR’, with a following of 91,000 members, shared the following post, “Dear members, Totally boycott The Kapil Sharma Show.”

The group put out the following post, “Dear SSR’s family, please be aware that Salman Khan is a co-producer of The Kapil Sharma Show. We have completely boycott him from everywhere, not just his movies, but also from every angles! So let’s boycott The Kapil Sharma Show from now onwards! Full on Boycott!!”

Khan is among several Bollywood stars facing accusations of hypocripsy and bullying in the Indian film industry. The question of nepotism has also been brought a number of times, with some asking why star kids are treated different to “outsiders”.
