Sushant Singh Rajput would love to do “a light romantic film”

Sushant Singh Rajput has had��one of the most successful television-to-Bollywood career��transitions seen among actors in recent times. ��After his unconventional debut in Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kai Po Che’ (2013), the actor has focused on varied scripts and challenging characters.�� However, Rajput says he would definitely love to do a light romantic film with songs and dances too.

In an interview with��Hindustan Times, the actor said, “I would love to do a light romantic film that has songs and dancing, so that I get to dance too. ��After all, those are the films I grew up watching.”

Though he has not had much of a chance to show his dancing abilities in his movies as yet, Rajput was��a member of popular choreographer Shiamak Davar’s dance troupe prior to his acting��career. ��In fact, it was Davar who encouraged him��to��join acting school.

Rajput is currently working on the much-awaited��Mahendra Singh Dhoni biopic and Shekhar Kapur’s ambitious project, ‘Paani’.
