Sushant Singh Rajput wants to do a dance film

Sushant Singh Rajput is hoping to showcase his dancing skills to the world.  The actor wants to do a dance film post the release of his upcoming film ‘Raabta’.

Rajput, who has trained under choreographer Shiamak Davar, is displaying his skills in the song ‘Main Tera Boyfriend’ for his next release.  However the actors has admitted he would like to do an out and out dancing film along the lines of American film ‘Black Swan’ (2010) as reported in DNA India.  “It shouldn’t look like an assortment of dances. I would love to do a film on the lines of the famous American dance film, Black Swan.  It wasn’t just a dance film. There was much more to it in the story, and it was very engaging,” he said.

Rajput had participated in dance reality shows before joining cinema but hasn’t had the opportunity in his previous films to dance.  He sees dancing as an integral part of his skill-set and is deeply connected to it. “I am extremely passionate about dance because I always saw it as a way to connect to the audiences when I performed on stage, before I entered films. When I was doing my engineering and performing as a background dancer for stars, I realised that this was something I wanted to do all my life. I remember even when I got into acting, rhythm was the only way I could connect to a script,” he added.
