As previously reported by BizAsiaLive.com , after gaining much appreciation for his acting skills, Sushant Singh Rajput is ready to take the next step in his career and will soon produce a film. In a recent interview, the star who rose to fame after his performance in the biopic ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ (2016) revealed he wants to support small budget films which impress based on content and not duration.
Reportedly, Singh Rajput expressed his desire to use his fame to create a system which would allow him to read new small budget scripts and produce content which would be accessible to a wider audience.
According to Times of India, he said, “If there’s anything any filmmaker has which I can relate to, I will sponsor the making of the film.”
The ‘Kai Po Che’ (2013) debutante confessed that coming from a humble background made him appreciate the importance of being financially stable in life and, as part of his intention to become a producer, he will primarily focus on those filmmakers who are unable to fund their own films.
