Sushant Singh Rajput opts out of Yash Raj Films contract?

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput has reportedly opted out of his contract with Yash Raj Films, resulting in Shekhar Kapoor’s next ‘Paani’ being delayed further.

The film, which is produced by Yash Raj Films, will mean that another actor may replace Rajput. His initial contract with the production giant was for three films, which included ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ and ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’. The third would have been ‘Paani’. However, the actor has been eager to sign other films outside Yash Raj Films.

Reports say that the actor was unhappy that he was left out of ‘Befikre’, which he was promised. Ranveer Singh was roped into the project instead.

It remains to be seen, which films he will be a part of next out of the Yash Raj Films umbrella.
