Sushant Singh Rajput on not winning ‘Best Actor’ award

Its the season of award ceremonies in the Indian film industry. With Star Screen Awards and Stardust Awards been and gone, one thing that stood out was Sushant Singh Rajput being pipped to the post in the Best Actor category.

At the both events, Rajput, who was up for Best Actor for his role in the critically acclaimed ‘MS Dhoni – The Untold Story’, was beaten by Bollywood legend, Amitabh Bachchan, for ‘Pink’.

Talking about this, Rajput did express his awkwardness at not taking any award home. He was cited in Deccan Chronicle saying, “I won’t lie. If I’m there to witness the awards, I do feel slightly awkward when I don’t win. A bit of acknowledgment from you folks could be a nice feeling. Having said that, me getting or not getting an award does not in any manner affect the way I go about my next project or my equation with my work.”

Rajput will next be seen in ‘Raabta’, out in June.
