Sushant Singh Rajput: “Not thinking of another relationship”

Recently, rumours surrounding Sushant Singh Rajput and his link-up with ‘Raabta’ co-star Kriti Sanon have been never-ending, despite both saying their relationship is nothing beyond friendship. Singh Rajput broke up with his long-time girlfriend Ankita Lokhande earlier this year and has finally spoken about it.

“I was filming Dhoni at the time. Then, it was prep and shooting for Raabta. Work is the only excitement right now, I’m not thinking of another relationship,” said Singh Rajput to Mumbai Mirror, when asked about what happened at the time of the split.

Speaking about the rumours – which he reiterates are false – about Sanon and the photos which did the rounds on social media, Singh Rajput continues, “If our chemistry was not visible in them, I’d be a bad actor since I’m supposed to be in love with Kriti in the film. Off the sets, we are very good friends”.

The actor, who will be seen next in ‘MS Dhoni – The Untold Story’ later this month, is busy with promotions for the film. He says that is his prime focus for now, “I spent more than a thousand hours watching Dhoni’s videos and interviews to understand him. The first time we met, I sat quietly and heard him out, the next time I had prepared 50 hypothetical multiple-choice questions to know how he reacts on the spot. The third time we discussed the script and when we rolled, I was Dhoni in my head”.

Singh Rajput has a couple of films in his kitty aside from ‘Raabta’, including ‘Takadum’ opposite Parineeti Chopra and also ‘Chandamama Door Ke’.
