Sushant Singh Rajput learns open water swimming for ‘Raabta’

Sushant Singh Rajput is no stranger to training for a role. He has just completed shooting for the MS Dhoni biopic and now he’s all set to move onto Dinesh Vijan’s ‘Raabta’ which will start next month. The actor has just a few weeks to learn open water swimming for the film.

A source spoke to Box Office Capsule, “The film goes on floors next month and since Sushant has to dive into the ocean for one of the scenes, he is taking lessons in open water swimming, which is completely different from pool swimming and requires a different skill set altogether. Open water is more susceptible to various elements like fluctuations in water temperature, surface chop from wind and strong currents that can dramatically effect how long one can swim”.

Singh Rajput himself also commented, “Learning how to swim is something that I have put off for many years. ��Raabta�۪ requires hardcore underwater sequences. I have started with it recently and hope I pull it off with ease”.

‘Raabta’ also stars Kriti Sanon and is Vijan’s directorial debut.
