Sushant Singh Rajput confirms 2016 wedding plans

Sushant Singh Rajput has finally confirmed that he will wed his long-term girlfriend, TV actress Ankita Lokhande at the end of 2016.

Speculation over the couple’s future has been doing the rounds for a number of months but now Rajput has admitted a wedding is around the corner. Talking to Mumbai Mirror, Rajput said, “I was told that if I get married, I will lose my female fan following. If that happens, I will quit acting. Ankita wants an elaborate wedding and it will happen at the end of next year when I am done with my current commitments. By then I’ll have a year to condition myself so that I can enjoy the wedding. I have no option.”

The couple has been together for around seven years after meeting each other on the sets of ZEE TV’s hit show ‘Pavitra Rishta’.
