Sushant Singh Rajput approached for ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha’?

There was major buzz around Shah Rukh Khan playing the lead in the astronaut, Rakesh Sharma biopic ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha’, where it seemed he was all geared up to prepare for the role. However with rumours  doing the rounds of his sudden exit from the project, it has been said that the makers are in the midst of trying to find his replacement, and have zeroed in on Sushant Singh Rajput.

“Sushant has been approached for this project and he is yet to give his nod. Sushant who had earlier begun his prep work for ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’ has a wide knowledge of science and technology and space,” Asian Age reports a source stating.

Helmed by Mahesh Mathai, the film will tell the story of Indian Air Force Pilot Rakesh Sharma, and how he became the first Indian citizen to travel into space.
