Sushant & Katrina in Abhishek Kapoor’s next?

Abhishek Kapoor’s next is creating much momentum over the female lead that will be paired opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.

According to Deccan Chronicle, Sara Ali Khan is no longer a part of the project and thus Katrina Kaif is expected to grab the role. This would be Rajput’s first outing with Kaif – even though they were expected to work together in ‘Fitoor’ (2016) before the actor walked out. They were rumoured to get signed up for ‘Driver’ but Kaif’s loss meant Jacqueline Fernandez’s gain.

A source told the publication, “It’s third-time lucky for the Katrina, Sushant pair. Kat was going to be cast opposite Sushant in Fitoor and then in Karan Johar’s Driver. These movies never happened, but they’re finally together.”
