Sushant clarifies relationship rumours with Kriti

Sushant Singh Rajput has attempted to quash the rumours of his on-off relationship with alleged girlfriend Kriti Sanon. The two had been recently photographed in Rajput’s new car, raising questions they were back together following a split earlier in the year.

The duo, who will be seen together in their upcoming film ‘Raabta’, have been in the news for their alleged relationship since the film began. Whilst neither have confirmed or denied their status, it seems Rajput’s latest statements provides some clarification.

DNA India reported the actor recently bought a new car and took Sanon for a ride, of which pictures went viral on social media and led to gossip mills going in overdrive. However Rajput has spoken out and said “It’s not like I bought the car and took Kriti for a ride. I had taken the car out for a spin alone the day it was delivered. Nobody clicked any pictures then.”

He went into add he found the constant speculation amusing but confirmed the two were just good friends. “I read about this thing between us, then there were stories about a fight and a break-up and then suddenly, probably because of the Maserati we were back together. They are all very interesting but untrue. We are good friends. She’s an engineer and I was studying to be one too before I dropped out. We’re both from Delhi, big foodies and like spending time together. Period,” he added.

It remains to be seen whether this further focus is part of the promotional tactics for their film or just the rumour mills in overdrive.
