Surveen Chawla replaces Chitrangada Singh in Kushan Nandy’s next?

Earlier this month, popular actress Chitrangada Singh walked out of an untitled Kushan Nandy directorial, which also stars ‘Black Friday’ (2007) critically acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Sidiqui, saying she was asked to reshoot an intimate scene with Siddiqui several times despite being uncomfortable. The incident led to a controversy with both sides releasing their own version of events before the media.

It appears now ‘Hate Story 2′(2014) actress Surveen Chawla has been approached by the filmmakers to step into the shoes of lead protagonist.

As per reports confirmed by Times of India, a source close to the actor revealed, “Surveen has been reading the script and having discussions with the makers. She will soon take a call. She is currently working on her TV show that stars Anil Kapoor.”
