Surbhi Tiwari ties the knot with Praveen Kumar Sinha

Surbhi Tiwari tied the knot with Delhi-based pilot and businessman boyfriend Praveen Kumar Sinha on 10th February 2019. The actor had elaborate pre-wedding functions which were followed by an even more lavish wedding.

“On the 8th of February, I had my Haldi, Mehendi and Mata Ki Chowki. We have a tradition that before starting anything new in life we keep in mind our goddess and to seek her blessings we have a Mata Ki Chowki. On the 9th, we had the groom’s tilak ceremony, following which we had our ring ceremony and sangeet function, where my friends and family played games and even did dance performances, which were then followed by a cocktail party. Everyone was so excited I was finally getting married. To share my happiness Sunayna Fouzdar, Pammi Motan, Krishna Soni, Jaya Bhattacharya, Jiten Lalwani, Surendra Pal, Sonal Jha, Surbhi, Sooraj Thapar, Yajuvendra Singh, Soni Singh, Kinshuk Vaidya, Shivya Pathania were present at the sangeet,” she says.

The actor says that she had always dreamt of having such a wedding. “I have always wanted a grand wedding and it couldn’t have been more perfect. I wore a yellow saree for my haldi, a navy blue peacock lehenga for the mehendi, a pink gotta patti lehenga for my sangeet and cocktail party and a wine colour lehenga for my wedding,” she says.
