Surbhi Chandna to play lead in ‘Sanjivani’ remake on Star Plus?

After her unceremonious exit from ‘Ishqbaaaz’, fans of Surbhi Chandna have been waiting for news on her return on the small screen.

The actress, known for her iconic role as Annika on ‘Ishqbaaaz’, is now rumoured to have been approached fro Siddharth Malhotra’s production ‘Sanjivani’ – a remake of the cult medical series. Originally, the show starred Gurdeep Kohli, Mohnish Behl, Mihir Mishra and Rupali Ganguly.

Reports say that the actress will take on the leading part of the popular 2002 series. Star Plus’ ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, which returned for a second season late last year has proved a ratings winner. It is now hoping ‘Sanjivani’ would do the same.
