Suraj Pancholi starts shooting for ‘Hero’ remake despite charge

Suraj Pancholi who has a turbulent year after the death of his estranged girlfriend Jiah Khan, has quietly started work on his Bollywood debut project ‘Hero’.

The actor, who is facing a chargesheet by Mumbai police for abetting the suicide of Khan, wants to move on from the saga and work on the much talked about film.

‘Hero’ is a remake of the 1983 Subhash Ghai classic with the same name. It will be directed by Nikhil Advani.

Aditya Panscholi�۪s son has Athiya, daughter of Suniel Shetty as his co-star. The unit plans to shoot mainly in south Mumbai this week and then head to Manali for a long outdoor stint.
