Suraj Pancholi granted bail in Jiah Khan suicide case

The Bombay High Court has granted Suraj Pancholi bail on a surety of Rs. 50,000 in the Jiah Khan suicide case.

The court said he was not able to leave the country and would need to surrender his passport.

His earlier bail pleases were rejected by the magistrate court and the Sessions court.

Pancholi was arrested last month for abetment to suicide after Jiah’s family handed an alleged suicide note to the police. On Thursday last week, a Mumbai court extended his judicial custody until 11th July.
