Supreme Court admits appeal challenging Salman Khan hit & run case

Salman Khan may soon be celebrating the release of ‘Sultan’ but that hasn’t stopped the Supreme Court delivering a setback in the 2002 Hit & Run case.

According to reports, the Supreme Court admitted Maharashtra Government’s appeal challenging the Bombay High Court’s acquittal of the star in the case.

Maharashtra Government has urged the court to put the hearing on fast track but the Supreme Court bench refused to do so.

Khan was acquitted of the 2002 mishap last year. One person was killed and four others injured.
