‘Super 30’ becomes first film to be shown tax-free in eight states

As Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Super 30’ continues to reign at the box office, almost hitting the Rs. 140 crore mark, it also becomes the first Bollywood film to get tax-free status in eight states.

Reported by Deccan Chronicles, Bihar was the first state to show ‘Super 30’ tax-free, followed by Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, and more recently, Haryana.

The film has not only proven to be popular with cinema goers, but has also become a source of inspiration for many, such as the Maharashtra government who will be setting up a new initiative – Super 50, which will provide special coaching for 50 tribal students and prepare then for JEE and NEET entrance examinations.
