Sunrise Radio set to launch Buzz Asia next week

Sunrise Radio has announced that it will be launching its newly acquired youth station, Buzz Asia, next week.

On-air promos running across the Sunrise Radio channels say Buzz Asia launches “next week” and with it are inviting “young, happening, street-wise presenters who have attitude and something to say to the world” to audition for a chance to front a show on the new London station.

According to the promo, the station is also holding auditions at Radio House on Sunday (18th October) at 14:00. The promo has been recorded in the voices of former Club Asia presenters, Missy D and Anushka Arora (now Deepa Rai on Sunrise Radio).

The station previously known as Club Asia will initially be available through 963 and 972AM (in London) and online (worldwide). There are also plans to expand the reach of the station by making it available on DAB digital radio.

The station is likely to launch on Monday morning (19th October), however we await for confirmation from Sunrise Radio.

At the time of filing this article, BizAsia.co.uk was awaiting a response from Sunrise Radio.
