Sunrise Radio Group rebrands stations

Sunrise Radio Group has rolled out it’s biggest ever rebrand exercise, with their three stations now being morphed into Sunrise Radio 1, Sunrise Radio 2 and Sunrise Radio 3.

The broadcaster has decided to extend its popular ‘Sunrise Radio’ brand to Kismat Radio and Buzz Radio. The main Sunrise Radio frequency on 1458AM in London is now known as Sunrise Radio 1.

As of today, Buzz Radio will be positioned into a Top 40 Bollywood music station, with a selection of Bhangra and mainstream songs also getting airplay. It will have be known as Sunrise Radio 2 with a compact, yet tighter playlist consisting of current hits. The presenter line-up will remain the same.

Kismat Radio – now Sunrise Radio 3 – will be positioned into a classic hits and chat station. Once again, Sunrise Radio 3, will retain a similar programme line-up of regional language shows with the same presenters.

The changes have also been reflected online with SunriseRadio.com the umbrella page for all three stations, linked individually.
