Sunrise Radio announces partnership with Asian Achievers Awards 2022

Sunrise Radio has announced its exclusive radio partnership with the Asian Achievers Awards 2022. The Awards established in 2000, now in their 23rd year, celebrate the work and achievements of individuals from the South Asian community in positions of leadership across a diverse field including, business, politics and civil society.

Tony Lit MBE, Sunrise MD comments, “Over the past two years of the pandemic we’ve all been faced with unprecedented difficulties both personally and in business. I am proud that South Asian leaders and business have shown an amazing strength during this time of great adversity. They have been forward thinking and innovative; and now that we are learning to live with COVID our leaders and businesses continue to adapt and evolve to the changing economic climate, and a new way of working, once again meeting new challenges with resolve and enthusiasm.

I’m pleased that the Charity Partner for these Awards is Pardada Pardadi UK which empowers girls in rural India through education and I’m very proud that Sunrise Radio is the exclusive Radio Partner . It’s going to be a fantastic evening with celebrities and CEO’s from around the world and I’m really looking forward to celebrating the success of all the award winners, and who knows maybe the first British Asian Prime Minister.”
