Sunrise Punjabi Radio goes off air in London

Punjabi Radio
Punjabi Radio is owned by the Sunrise Radio Group

Sunrise Radio’s regional station, Punjabi Radio has fallen off the air on digital radio in London.

The station’s status on DAB digital radio sets reads ‘Station Off Air’ – however, that label only shows up if the station has either ceased broadcasting or facing a fault.

Whilst we tried to contact Sunrise Radio Group about the issue, we were unsuccessful to get a response.

The station continues to run as normal online with presenters staggered throughout the day.

Sunrise Punjabi Radio recently ceased broadcasting on digital TV and in the West Midlands on DAB digital radio, alongside Sunrise Radio.

Recently, the broadcaster started a new pledge to help fund the station through ‘Listeners Contributions’.
