Sunny Leone reacts on allegations of serving obscenity

Even after enjoying a magical three-year journey in Bollywood, Sunny Leone is yet not done with her past where she used to be a porn star. The actress had to report to a Mumbai police station in a case filed against her alleging that the actress distributes improper content on web and social networking sites.

The case was filed by a Mumbai-based housewife in the first month of May 2015. Being very disheartened over the legal proceedings, Leone recorded an emotional statement with the Thane (a district in northern Maharashtra state in Western India) police.

According to Hindustan Times, Leone says that it was very unfair to connect her past with her present. She clarifies that the video clips circulating over the internet are from those days when she used to be adult film actress in US and since she joined the Hindi film industry, she has left everything behind and isn’t working on those videos anymore.

“The objectionable video clips circulating here belong to when I was working in the adult film industry in the US. I have distanced myself from any such roles after becoming a part of the Indian film fraternity. I feel it would be improper to haunt me with the past when I am trying to move ahead in life”, said by actress.

She also gave all the details related to her residence and place of work with the polive correspondent in a bid to finalize the case as soon as possible.

Anjali Palan, who filed a case against the actress, said that such posts destroy the minds of people and especially children. The complaint was registered against her under the Indecent Representation of Women Act (3) and (4).

Well, the complaint has been made demanding to deport the actress following the vulgarity she serves to the people of the country.
