Sunny Leone perhaps wouldn’t be the first choice when thinking about an actress who could step into the shoes of yesterday actress Meena Kumari. However, it seems the filmmaker wanting to put her life on celluloid might be casting Leone.
It seems it was Vidya Balan who was approached for the film but decided to decline. “I narrated her something but at the moment she is wanting to do something that’s non-serious. She has had too much of serious stuff. We spoke at length. Maybe tomorrow, I may have that kind of a script for her. But at the moment, I wanted her to play the role of an actress of the 1960s. The film dealt with alcoholism and tragedy,” said filmmaker Karan Razdan, according to Bombay Times, who wants to make the film.
Razdan also suggested that Leone was the only one who would do the film.
