Sunny Leone opts out of item song

Porn star – turned actress Sunny Leone was reported to have been signed for an item song in Anil Sharma’s ‘Singh Sahib The Great’. However, the actress has put rumours to rest by protesting she will not be taking this route.

Already on board for Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Ragini MMS 2’, as reported by Hindustan Times��Leone states, “No. Right now I am only focusing on ‘Ragini MMS 2’ and also PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) ad.”

Talking of her upcoming venture, Leone goes on to emphasise how the thriller film is sure to make audiences jump out of their seats, “You guys are going to be really scared. I will be like jumping at you out of the screen. What happens in this movie is very, very scary. It will be more than scary.”

Not having started shooting yet, Leone explains how excited she is for the movie and is loving every bit of it already, “Actually, I have not quite started working with (producer) Ekta Kapoor yet, but everything so far is absolutely amazing. The songs in this movie, the introduction and everything about it so amazing.”

Surprising for some as it maybe, given her career background, by slamming these reports it’s clear that Leone is definitely putting her efforts in consuming a serious actor image. Her debut film ‘Jism 2’ (2012) didn’t do as well as hoped, though it did get her acting talent noticed. Let’s just hope her next raises the bar a little for her sake.
