Sunny Leone: “Aamir Khan’s message made my day”

In the last few days, Sunny Leone has been receiving much praise from fans and industry folk alike. She remained calm and composed when interviewer Bhupendra Chaubey threw some tricky and offensive questions her way. She was tweeted by Aamir Khan who lent his support and said he would love to work with her. She was more than happy with such a message from Khan.

Talking in an interview with Femina, Leone said, “:I guess by asking questions like Do you think Aamir Khan would work with you۪, he just wanted to pick names that seemed unreachable and Aamir is one of the biggest stars in the industry. Whether Aamir and I work together in future or not, his message made my day. I was so happy and very surprised.”

She has gone on record to say she would never leave an interview. She commented on this statement, ” I was so afraid that my fans will be upset that I did not take the questions head on. I honestly did not even know how to answer them. I just stayed in my seat and wasn۪t going to let this person get the best of me. As far as letting him win by making me look bad was concerned, I wouldn۪t do that. I۪m not sorry for who I am or for what I have done and I believe no one can push you down and make you feel like that. I tried my hardest not to let it show. There were moments where I did not know what to do, though I was hurt and upset, I just continued with it. I thought people would be upset with me but the opposite of it happened.”

She also spoke about promotions for her film ‘Mastizaade’ in which she will be seen in next, “They are definitely the busiest and toughest but in a way they are also like a celebration of the movie and there a whole lot of fun things going on. My favourite interviews are ones when the whole cast is together. It۪s fun when it۪s multiple people as I learn things about my co-stars that I did not know before.”
