Sunny Deol’s next shelved for son Karan’s debut?

Writer and director KV Vijayendra Prasad has revealed that Sunny Deol’s next feature has been shelved since the star is now focussing on his son Karan Deol’s Bollywood debut.

After talks with Akshay Kumar reportedly didn’t materialise, Prasad signed Sunny Deol for his patriotic drama earlier this year. However, Prasad, who has penned blockbusters ‘Bahubali: The Beginning’ (2015) and ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ (2017), as well as the Salman Khan movie ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ (2015), informed media outlets that the project has been shelved.

“That film with Sunny isn’t happening now; it’s shelved. He wants to concentrate on his son Karan’s debut,” revealed Prasad, according to Mid-Day, who is scripting Goldie Behl’s new show, ‘Aarambh.’

Last year, there were rumours of Prasad’s son and director SS Rajamouli helming the project titled ‘Mera Bharat Mahaan.’ But, his team had clarified that his packed diary wouldn’t allow him the liberty until ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ was released, says the report.

As for Sunny, he is busy with Karan’s debut, ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas,’ that he is directing himself. The shoot is currently ongoing in Manali and further reports say that Karan has already signed his second film with producer and director Dinesh Vijan.
