Sunny Deol’s ‘Mohalla Assi’ release delayed due to “offensive scenes”

Sunny Deol’s much delayed movie ‘Mohalla Assi’ is facing further problems after it received complaints that the film was hurting religious sentiments.

The Delhi Court said the film will not be able to hit cinemas this weekend until the alleged offending scenes and dialogues are removed.

A complaint filed by Delhi resident, Gulshan Kumar said that a character in the film dressed as Lord Shiva has been depicted using “very abusive and filthy language”, charging few hundred rupees for snaps with people at the Ghat.

The film also stars Sakshi Tanwar.
