Sunny Deol to consider ‘Damini’ remake?

After the success of ‘Ghayal Once Again’, Sunny Deol is open to considering remakes and sequels to other films he has been a bit of in the past. Deol believes his character in ‘Damini’ (1993) would click with the audience today too.

Speaking to DNA India, the actor said, “I liked that Govind character. Recently, I met some lawyer fans who told me over mail about this case which kept getting thrown out again and again but they persisted. I went to meet a couple of them and they were talking about how they didn�۪t give up on the case and finally they did an RTI. I am just saying this because of the impact that films have on people; sach ke saath hai toh haar nahi manni chahiye. I did that for so many years, and now, I feel vindicated. So yes, I feel that Govind�۪s character can be relevant even today.”

Deol is next expected to be seen in ‘Bhaiyyaji Superhitt’, which also marks Preity Zinta’s return to cinema.
