Sunny Deol reveals why ‘Ghayal Once Again’ is not clashing with ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’

Sunny Deol’s ‘Ghayal Once Again’, a much-awaited sequel to his 1990-hit ‘Ghayal’, was earlier slated for a Diwali 2015 release, which meant it would have clashed at the Box Office with ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’.�� Deol has gone on record to clarify why the clash was averted.

Speaking to Absolute India, Deol said, “Diwali was a good time to release the film, but the creative work and special effects took time.”

While ‘Ghayal Once Again’, produced and directed by Deol as well as starring him, has now been shifted to January 2016, Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ is now a solo Diwali release for B-town this year.
