Sunny Deol and Kangana Ranaut starrer, ‘I Love NY’, which was supposed torelease a few years ago, was delayed for a number of reasons, and producer Bhushan Kumar recently launched the trailer without consulting the lead actors. This has miffed Deol, who says that Kumar has damaged the film.
According to the Deccan Chronicle, the makers and Kumar released the trailer right after Ranaut’s hit, ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ (2015). They are releasing the film in July and Deol is not happy with the development. He stated, “I don’t know what Mr. Bhushan is doing here. He keeps on releasing the trailer, but not the film. They have damaged the film. To me he looks like a rich child who is spoilt. I wasn’t even aware that it’s releasing.”
The film is already in troubled waters as Ranaut is reportedly also taking legal action against Kumar for releasing the film without her consent.
‘I Love NY’ is directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, and is slated to release on 10thJuly.
