Sunil Grover’s new show to replace ‘The Drama Company’ on Sony TV?

Sony Entertainment Television is set to tweak its weekend schedule further with ‘The Drama Company’ coming to an end this month.

According to sources, the Krushna Abhishek stand-up comedy, will come to its natural-end later this month, with a new show starring Sunil Grover set to take its place. ‘The Drama Company’ has not managed to garner the kind of ratings that were expected prior to launch. It is not known if the series will return at a later stage.

Grover, who has not been seen much on television since leaving ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, is expected to return with his own full-fledged comedy series. The show is expected to take the 21:00 weekend slot, which has been vacant since Sharma went on a break owing to health issues.

The channel has yet to confirm the developments.
