Suniel Shetty proud of Akshay Kumar & Ajay Devgn

Where his co-star friends like have raced ahead up the success ladder, Suniel Shetty has had little luck over the last few years, where he’s failed to impress audiences.

However, unlike many others, Shetty feels nothing but pride for his friends, and understands that his failures are due to his own mistakes. When asked about how he feels about the likes of Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn gaining hit after hit, Times Now News reports the actor expressing, “I never enter a room thinking that my last Friday release was fabulous or bad. I am very strong mentally, I believe in myself. Today when I see Akshay and Ajay, I feel so proud, I salute them, they are very close friends of mine.”

“Even today, they inspire me by what they have achieved, I am not jealous, I have made mistakes that is why where I am, I am, so I appreciate Akshay and Ajay, and I wish I was like them, but I will and for that I need to work hard,” he added.

Talking about his own failures, Shetty explained, “Never ever, that’s why I made the mistakes I made, I was very emotional, I signed the films with directors saying, ‘sir assistant hoon, kar lo,’ I did it, I never planned my career, I never planned the highs and low.”

“If I fell, I fell, if today, my Friday is not good, it’s because of the mistakes I made, but somewhere down the line, I feel Ahan and Athiya will be blessed with everything I did, Athiya was been launched by Salman and now Ahan with Sajid, and Milan Luthria, what more can anyone ask for?” He went on.

Currently in the most of shooting his forthcoming project ‘Marakkar – The Lion of the Arabian Sea’ by Priyadarshan, there have been rumours that Shetty will be reuniting with Kumar and Paresh Rawal for ‘Hera Pheri 3’.
