Suniel Shetty eager for ‘Hera Pheri 3’

With the first two films proving to be huge successes, it seems Suniel Shetty is eager for the third instalment of the ‘Hera Pheri’ franchise to get started.

“Hera Pheri is a huge franchise, one of the first few films to have had a successful sequel (Phir Hera Pheri, 2006). All the characters — Raju (Akshay Kumar), Shyam (Shetty) and Babu bhai (Paresh Rawal) — have stayed with the audience and there is a brand recall. As co-stars too, we get along like a house on fire. We must make it [part 3] for fans,” Mid-Day reports the actor stating.

Talks of the film were put to rest after writer Neeraj Vora suffered a stroke. However, with him now on the road to recovery it seems the film is back on the cards. “I believe he is doing better now. Once he is fit, we will roll out the film,” Sherry went on to add when asked about Vora.

Talking about the other projects he’s a part of, it seems Shetty is becoming very busy. He explained, ” I recently started a company F The Couch with casting director Mukesh Chabbra; it’s a one-stop platform for Bollywood aspirants.”

He went on to add, ” I have also done a film, Reload (starring Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez) in which I play a grey character. I can’t talk much about it, but it’s a perfect comeback film. I am playing my age and had a lot of fun.”

Looks like Shetty fans are soon in for a real treat. Stay with BizAsiaLive.com for more.
