‘Sultan’ to mark end of era for Salman Khan?

Salman Khan in Sultan 340x

In the last few years, Salman Khan has found success in action films but it seems the actor is now looking to stay away from a heavy action genre. The forthcoming ‘Sultan’ could well be his last film in the category.

Interestingly, it seems Khan has been expressing to his friends that he’s now wanting to focus on meaningful cinema. A source told Deccan Chronicle, “Salman gets a lot of offers for South remakes and action films but right now he is not keen on taking those up. He wants to do films with a message. Also he cannot give so many dates in bulk and action films require that. There are a lot of directors and producers waiting to work with him, but Salman cannot work for 100 to 150 days at a stretch on one project. He۪s only doing it for Sultan as he had committed to it a long time ago”.

Khan has given his nod to a number of films already but it may well be that post 2017, there will be a different Khan for audiences to go gaga over.
