Sukumar not Sooraj Barjatya to direct Salman Khan in Rajshri’s next?

Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya of Rajshri Productions, hit gold with their romantic family film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ last year. The latest buzz suggests that Rajshri will be churning out their first action film, and it may star Khan.

Barjatya had rubbished rumors of��him��directing��another Khan starrer earlier in the year, but the film is supposedly going to be a Rajshri production, and not directed by Barjatya. A source told Mid-Day. “The project will be directed by Sukumar, who is a popular name in��the Telugu industry, and it is likely to be a remake of a South film. So, it is no wonder that it will have some hardcore action sequences. Barjatya has decided to be on board just as the producer.” Another source added, “This will be the first time that Barjatya’s banner will make an actioner. Once things are finalized, they will go ahead with an official announcement.”

While there is no word on a leading lady, ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ saw Sonam Kapoor pair up with Khan and Rajshri for the first time.
