Sujoy Ghosh’s Saif Ali Khan starrer put on backburner

Much has been speculated over Ekta Kapoor and Sujoy Ghosh�۪s adaptation of the Japanese novel, ��The Devotion of Suspect X�۪.�� The latest news surrounding the project is that it has now been put on a backburner.

According to Mid Day, Ghosh has demanded high fees to direct the adaptation, which has led to producer Ekta Kapoor stalling the film for now.

The filmmakers had allegedly signed Saif Ali Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles, while there was also talk of Fawad Khan being approached for a role in the film.
