‘Suicide’ video of late actor Inder Kumar goes viral

A video of actor Inder Kumar in a drunken state, talking about suicide, has gone viral on the Internet.

In the video, he talks about how bad habits have resulted in his downfall personally and professionally. He also is seen crying and apologising to his parents.

Clearing the rumours about Kumar’s state, who passed away from a heart attack last July, his wife Pallavi Saraf said. “It is not a real video. It is actually a scene from a film called ‘Phatti Padi Hai Yaar’ for which he had shot a year-and-half ago. It is sad that people are confusing the film scene with his real life.”

Kumar was accused of rape in 2014 and spent 45 days in prison. However, Saraf added, “During that phase, he was highly disturbed. There were, of course, days where he broke down. He was concerned that his name was dragged into this but he never gave up.”

The film releases later this year.
