Sudheer Babu wants to romance “old pal” Deepika Padukone

Popular Tollywood actor Sudheer Babu recently made his Bollywood debut with Tiger Shroff-Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Baaghi’ (2016). The actor is very happy with his ‘negative’ Bollywood debut and says he would like to romance his old Badminton partner, Deepika Padukone next.

Babu who played the antagonist in the film, had initially��thought about turning down the role. He told Asian Age, “I am very fortunate to have played a negative role in Baaghi. I felt that it had a lot of scope for acting. Besides, it was opposite Tiger Shroff. When I heard the script, I wanted to politely say no, initially thinking�� that I have more scope down south, but later negative roles interested me and I agreed to do the film.”

On who he would like to romance next, he said, “Earlier, I wanted to romance Kajol, but I guess now I would love to romance Deepika Padukone. We were old Badminton pals. We used to play in Bangalore with her father Prakash Padukone as our coach.”

‘Baaghi’ is directed by Sabbir Khan, and is having a good run at the box office.
