Fouryears since his last directorial, ‘Yuvraaj’ (2004), Subhash Ghai is ready to get behind the camera once again. The fact that it will alsobe in celebration of his own production company completing 34 years is a bonus.

Ghai has had many successes in his career, taking on big names such as Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and many more. However, this time, he has decided to follow many other film-makers in taking on newcomers. “You can۪t make a film your way if you have to cater to stars and their image,” Hindustan Timesreport the director stating.

Ghai is known for his films being complemented by very successful soundtracks and the forthcomingfilm will be no different. Revealing that he has signed on Ismail Darbar and Salim-Sulaimanto direct the music, Ghai explains, “I want soulful music, and I feel Ismail can create that. I’ve also signed Salim-Sulaiman to bring in some contemporary style.۝

“It is the journey of a young woman from the mountains to a city, so the music must reflect the various phases in her life,۝ explained the film-maker when talking about the plot of the film. It was also revealed that Ghai would have some known names within the film, however nothing else has been said.
