Subhash Ghai has always been a filmmaker who has the industry’s best interest at heart. Though he may have been away from the director’s seat since quite some time, Ghai has been working on a meditation centre for members of the film industry, which is now open to them.

Speaking toMumbai Mirror about the centre, Ghai said, “Actors go abroad for a detox retreat, they can now come here to relax under the stars in the I-Pray room. we are not affiliated to any religion, we will just have spiritual music playing there.”

The filmmaker has roped in actress Vidya Balan as the brand ambassador for the meditation centre, which is located at the popular Film City, Mumbai. On selecting Balan, he said, “Vidya is the only non-cosmetic actress in the industry. Her knowledge about India’s culture is profound… While most actresses would have asked, “Am I getting Rs. 2 crore or Rs. 5 crore?” Vidya came on board so she could learn more about meditation.”

The likes of Hariharan and Hema Malini are also expected to conduct spiritual sessions at the centre.
