‘Stree’ makers working on sequel?

With the original film having been such a big hit, it comes as no surprise that the makers of ‘Stree’ (2018) are in the midst of preparing for its sequel, as previously rumoured.

According to Asian Age, filmmakers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. have already zeroed in on an idea for the story, and are looking to get things underway. “They have an idea, but the film may not just start right away. Some issues need to be sorted between them and the makers,” a source was reported revealing.

The source went on to add, “Once that’s done, the announcement will happen. They are also busy with their web-show ‘The Family Man’ (2019), starring Manoj Bajpayee, and will start work post that.”

Originally starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, it has been said the though Kapoor may still be a part of the sequel, the same can’t be said yet for Rao and other cast members.
